On 11th August 2025, Leading-Edge Islamic Girls' Senior High School officially opened its doors, marking a historic milestone in girls' education in the Ashanti Region. The school commenced with 22 students and 2 dedicated teaching staff under the leadership of inaugural Headmaster, Mohammed Faisal.
Founded on the vision of combining academic rigour with Islamic values, the school aspires to become Ghana's premier centre for Islamic and Arabic education while producing exceptional female leaders.
"This is only the beginning," said CEO Dr. Abdul-Muhsin Shamun. "Every girl who walks through these gates carries the promise of a brighter future for her family, her community, and her nation."
